SSgt Siti Khadijah Binte Rowtin’s commendable composure and strong operational knowledge have helped our prison remain safe and secure.

Because of her good grasp of operational knowledge, co-workers often consult her for operational advice. Besides playing a key role in ensuring order and discipline in the prison, her responsibilities include overseeing the inmates and helping them reintegrate back into the society.

SSgt Siti is no stranger to giving hope to the inmates and changing their perspectives in life. Her greatest gratification is seeing her ex-offenders become contributing citizens and hearing their success stories from them.

SSgt Siti hopes to be an inspiration to others. Striking a chord with her is Edward Bulwer-Lytton’s philosophy of life: "Remedy your deficiencies and your merits would take care of themselves".
