Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition

November 20 – 23

The exhibition of inmate art held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens from 10am to 6pm also offered members of the public the opportunity to bring home their favourite art pieces via a charity sale conducted over the weekend. >

The first-ever experiential insight into the life stories of serving inmates, reformed offenders and their families gave the public the opportunity to see, hear and feel the struggles of inmates and ex-offenders.

Art for Redemption

"Re-Connection" is the central theme of this year's Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition. More than 70 artworks by prison inmates will be showcased at the Singapore Botanic Gardens' Botany Centre from today to SUnday. An event highlight is the charity sale of selected art pieces.

Many Singaporeans made a special effort to wear a Yellow Ribbon in the month of September as an act of acceptance and a show of support for ex-offenders and their families.
