Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition
September 22 – 23Inmates and ex-offenders shared their journey of rehabilitation and reintegration through various art forms at the inaugural Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition. Original art works in fine art, recycle art and installation art were showcased at The Arts House.
Yellow Ribbon Conference 2007
September 5The Yellow Ribbon Conference brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, policy makers, human resource practitioners, social workers, families of ex-offenders, 'clients' and volunteers to discuss issues relating to ex-offenders reintegration, their families and employment issues.
Yellow Ribbon Walk & Fair
September 2More than 10,000 members of the public came to show their support for the Yellow Ribbon Project by walking from Pasir Ris Town Park to Prison Link Centre. The event was graced by guest-of-Honour Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Yellow Ribbon Poetry & Story Telling Competition; Yellow Ribbon Song Writing Competition
June 28Inmates and ex-offenders showcased their talents by submitting their original compositions reflecting the theme “Give Back”. Winning poems and songs were featured at the Yellow Ribbon Walk and Fair.
Yellow Ribbon Cooking Competition
May 9The inaugural Yellow Ribbon Cooking Competition held in Changi Prison Complex gave inmates the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills. The 16 finalists selected by a panel of professionals in the F&B industry were given the opportunity to cook for their families in a special Mother’s Day Lunch.
